6 Percent & Rising is a social enterprise created to bring awareness to the lack of genuine work opportunities available for

those with disabilities. Whether producing ground-breaking media content, presenting at an event or running a workshop, we will advocate for individuals and communities that don't have a voice.

Previously 6%, now only 4.8% of individuals with learning disabilities are in employment across the UK. This has to change! We exist to transform the employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities and additional needs.

Every ounce of our energy is focussed on raising awareness around this shocking statistic, and showcasing the talent and skills of individuals right across the world, so that everyone is provided with the opportunity to work.

By developing great relationships with individuals, families,
schools, colleges, supported internship and apprenticeship
providers we showcase the UK's unique and untapped talent pipeline.

Promoting the talents and abilities of individuals with
learning disabilities, we challenge society to do more; working with our partners to maximise our collective impact.

Our campaigns will unite everyone behind our vision for a sustainable, inclusive society that recognises the power of shining a light on individuals with disabilities. Together we can transform the employment landscape to benefit everyone.

ABOUT HARRY

Harry is on a crusade to create a future
in which individuals with disabilities can succeed in employment based on their passions and abilities.

He has led a number of disability campaigns across the country and will continue to work with businesses, so they can become more inclusive and accessible.

Harry has been breaking down barriers since he was 11 years old. He has experienced some of the barriers that are faced by young people with additional needs first-hand and he is committed to making change a reality.
